The calculators run entirely in your browser: the amounts and financial data you enter are saved only on this device and are never sent to our servers or stored by us. If you additionally choose to sign in with Google (an optional feature, never required, explained in the next section), that same data is also saved remotely so you can access it from any device. Separately, if you allow it through the cookie banner, we process usage data through third-party tools:

You can use every tool without creating an account. If you choose to sign in with Google, we store your Household profile and your Finance and Investments transactions in a database (Google Firestore, hosted in the European Union) linked to your account, so you can access them from any device. The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent when you sign in (GDPR art. 6.1.a). You can permanently delete this data and your account at any time from the account menu ("Delete my account and data"), with no need to contact us.

We use this data to understand how the site is used and to improve it, and to show ads that help keep it free. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Analytics and advertising providers (such as Google) may process data as processors or independent controllers and may transfer data internationally under the safeguards required by applicable law. See their respective policies for details.

Depending on applicable law (such as GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data. To exercise them, write to [contact email]. You may also file a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights haven't been respected.

We retain data for as long as needed for the purposes described above and while you haven't withdrawn consent, unless a longer retention period is legally required.
